Organic Electronics Association (OE-A)
PolyIC is a member of the Organic Electronics Association (OE-A). The Organic Electronics Association is the information and communication platform for companies and research institutes active in this emerging polymer technology. The Vision of the OE-A is to build a bridge between science, technology and application.
The OE-A was founded in December 2004 under the roof of the German engineering association VDMA and created a platform for companies and institutes active in the field of organic electronics, foster the collaboration of OE-A members by exchange of information and experiences, and initiate the cooperation of OE-A members in technical projects.
Currently, the OE-A has more than 50 members from all around the world. However, at the moment most members come from European countries.
Wolfgang Mildner, the managing director of PolyIC, also acts as Chairman of the OE-A. He was re-elected as Chairman in March 2007 for a term of two years.

EPCglobal
PolyIC is also a member of EPC global, which is leading the development of industry-driven standards for the Electronic Product Code (EPC) to support the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in today's fast-moving, information rich, trading networks. EPC global is a subscriber-driven organisation comprised of industry leaders and organisations focused on creating global standards for the EPCglobal Network. The goal of EPC global is to increase visibility and efficiency throughout the supply chain and higher quality information flow between companies and their key trading partners. The German branch of EPC global is GS1 Germany. |
