Smart ObjectsSmart objects are systems of various components of printed electronics, such as input elements (keyboards), displays, sources of energy (e.g. batteries, solar cells), sensors as well as control electronics. At PolyIC, such smart objects are compiled under the brand name of PolyLogo®. From these components, a host of new applications can be realized. For example, a combination of a printed battery with a logic circuit, an input element and a display can be made into
- a disposable sensor,
- a game or
- or a information display.
New application fields can be realisied especially in combination with RFID tags, for example a optical
indicator can show if a tag was read or is being read.
The starting point in this product series is represented by a radio activated display, called
PolyLogo - RAD.
